The Main Window

The main window, offers the following Menus:

• The File Menu offers the standard menu entry to exit the program. Further, you can open and save configuration files.
• The Option Menu lets the user access the various dialogs to set options for encoder, soundcard, broadcast, id3 tag, or startup as well as add input files and select an output file.

  Further, the appearance of error pop-up windows can be suppressed by checking the errors as messages option. The native Windows Audio Mixer application can be started and the small volume meter in the soundcard section can be detached to make a bigger, resizable, and more readable volume meter.

• The Help Menu provides mainly access to this help file.

The different parts of the main window for soundcard, volume control, encoder, input file, broadcast, and output file are described in the next sections.

At the bottom of the window is a message line. Messages from the application to the user are displayed here and will scroll away, when new messages arrive. If selected in the options menu, also error messages will appear here.
