Input Files

From the list box at the top, you can select an mp3 file to be played. Files can be added to this list using the Add input dialog from the Options Menu. If the list box happens to be empty, when the Play button is pressed, the Add Input dialog is started automatically.

If the end of file is reached, the Repeat check box determines whether the playing of the file will simply stop or whether the file is played again from the beginning.

The bottom contains a Play button, a Pause button, and a Stop button.

Important: While streaming sound to the internet or recording a file, care must be taken not to mix data with different sample frequencies. While mp3 player generally are able to adapt to different encoding bitrates most of them do not cope well with changing sample frequencies.
